Tastemaker Series: Bottega de Flores X Ginori Cipria

For us, the Winter months shine just as brilliantly as a sunny bridal season. It’s a sacred time of fire and renewed vision when our everyday portals open up to heavenly possibility. So of course we had to set a holiday table for THEE Sagittarius—a free-spirited centaur anchored by the earth but forever with their head in the starry skies. Scroll on to see just what we mean. To truly embrace this duality of presence and play, we need a florist unafraid to stoke the creative fire with slightly subversive shades and silhouettes. Nolan Kiser of Bottega de Flores is one such magician. He capped off our modern celestial tabletop to pure perfection.

RISE TO THE OCCASION

The reality is, imagination takes a certain amount of spontaneity to truly take flight. Renting a new pattern and reimagining your traditional holiday tablescape is the easiest way to bring a little more joy to the table this year.

This design takes this notion and serves as an upward spiral of radiance and warmth, with a slightly unexpected shade for Christmas. The free-spirited essence of this season is, after all, an experience brought together by color and pattern. This holiday design isn’t just for a one-hit wonder; she’s a forever muse—one worthy of creating splendor on the table. Could you chart out such a character? We certainly can:

Big Three (IYKYK): SAG SUN | CAP RISING | SAG MOON

Celebrating: High society and a fire seasonal soirée.

Deep Dives On: Crystals, sacred seasons, Anna Hathaway’s journey, and her hobby of the month in general.

Personal China Collection: Mottahedeh Lace and Dior

Her P.O.S.H. Picks: Ghost Chairs and Ginori

Her Mantra: “Every day is all there is.”

THE DYNAMIC DUO: BOTTEGA DE FLORES X GINORI

I wanted this to speak to the fire elements of the moodboard. The linen had so many interesting shades to pull from—definitely pink and fuchsia, but the burnt orange and sienna shades felt like something a bit more edgy and unexpected to play with. - Nolan Kiser, Owner and Lead Designer at Nottego de Flores

While the crystallized shades of pink, blue, and silver set the foundation, it’s the sepia tones that cast the most magical glow on this glorious table. The warm orange of the crescent moon shape organically pulled the copper tones of our Wavelength linen to life while also highlighting what is *cough* an underused & iconic shade of Ginori—Cipria.

In Italian, Cipria refers to the classic color of makeup setting powder (like you would use with a silky vanity puff)—a nude that is not pink, not peach, but a specific shade that lives beautifully in-between. It’s a refined shade for someone who is always shooting for the stars, much like your favorite Archer.

THE TABLE: ENDLESS ARDOR

Stack these chic shades together when you want a one-of-a-kind tablescape that isn’t soon to leave anyone’s mind, even during the rush of the holiday season.

The Linen: Metallic Wavelength Fuschia

Trippy in the best possible way and perfect for capturing the fiery tones of Sagittarius season.

The Charger: Glitter Edge Charger

The equivalent of a celestial starburst, the Glitter Edge Charger is a stunning foundation for your tablescape, bringing a silver sliver of fun to traditional patterns.

The Plates: Mottahedeh Lace in Red stacked with Ginori Cipria and a Heritage Blue B&B accent plate.

Traditional patterns in slightly unexpected colors are just the joyful spin a Sagittarius would take on a holiday tablescape.

The Glassware: Classic Blue Collection

Tinted blue stemware in a classic silhouette is a chic accent for a table leaning towards a contemporary aesthetic.

The Flatware: Lucite Silver Flatware

Is there anything more chic than Lucite cutlery? Enough said!

The Chair: Amber Louis Kartell Ghost Chairs

This tablescape needed something to match the frequency of crystals and assorted sepia tones, making the subtle amber tint of the Kartell Ghost Chair a clear winner. We adore this look; however, we have endless options depending on your space. Sometimes a ballroom or family room with heavy wood, etc, needs something a little more tangible in tone and texture around the table. Should that be the case for you, the velvet Mila Chair in Navy is a top pick.
