Our North Star while designing our Fall and Winter tables was divine direction – an artful ease into autumnal abundance, shared ceremoniously for the harvest and holiday seasons.
We suggest leaning into these themes while setting the table; you never know where it will take you. And if you need another excuse for setting the table outside of play, just remember: Being alive is a special occasion. Go have some fun.
Follow along as we breathe new life into our favorite china and porcelain patterns with the help of three incredible Dallas-based floral designers: Concepto, Bottega de Flores, and R. Love Floral.
Since we are diving headfirst into whimsy for the holidays, we needed something ethereal to look up to. To do that, we needed a sweeping floral canopy that could make our historic Design District building feel more magical than industrial. Thanks to Raquel or R Love Floral, we don’t just have a showroom–we have something to glow and behold. This stunning floral transformation helped guide the overall feel of the showroom and anchor our main attraction - the regal king's table in the color of the moment.
THE MOODBOARD: SHE MOVES IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS
It's alright, this table has the perfect tabletop rentals for your next holiday gathering. For this luxe aesthetic, we needed something visually stimulating, complex layers, and a nearly monochromatic color story–more of a minimal maximalism, if you will. Our moodboard was layered with luxurious blooms that feel otherworldly and captivating, along with iconic (and festive) patterns from Versace and Ginori in the deepest reds, wines, bugundies, and hot pinks we could pair together. This tablescape is for a bride or hostess who knows exactly what she wants to bring to the table. We love her complexity and made a chart just for her based on the zodiac’s divine timing.
Big Three (IYKYK): PISCES SUN | TAURUS RISING | SAG MOON
Celebrating: She’s dreamy, grounded, and adventurous, so of course, we expect nothing short of a chic, contemporary tablescape that feels like its own world. This is great for the Winter wedding bride who isn’t afraid of color or the ultimate hostess breaking bread with new traditions at home this holiday season.
Deep Dives On: The Season of Epiphany, Princess Kate (we fully support a Princess that behaves like a Queen), Japanese Beer, and Olivia Dean, obviously.
Personal China Collection: Ginori from her own wedding registry, on which she serves prime rib and feelings.
Her P.O.S.H. Picks: Versace’s Medusa Gala Charger for a showstopping moment with a feminine feel and the Smoke Old Fashioned that matches her excellent pour taste.
Her Mantra: “Deep and wide.”
THE MUSE: GINORI AND VERSACE
Stacking on that sentiment, we wanted depth and dimension to move across the table for our favorite holiday season of love and light. To play off of Ginori’s vermiglio, we created a foundation of rich burgundy with a classic velvet linen. An unexpected twist that felt just right was the terracotta Heritage Collection, which helped ground the heightened vibe of the showroom with its characteristic earthiness. The Versace Charger, Duchess Goblets, and Carrie Wineglass Collections brought a royal treatment to the table. It’s a little bougie and a lot romantic—just like we like it. Be still our hearts, indeed.
THE MOMENT: SAY MORE
Falls deeper, studied shades aren’t exactly the type to ask you for permission. In fact, they aim to sweep you off your feet. And you deserve both sentiments, in our humble opinion.
The Charger: Versace Medusa Gala
Rosenthal Meets Versace with the iconic Medusa Gala Charger inspired by the ancient myth of Medusa, made even more regal by its 24kt gold details. This charger deserves its own standalone moment before coursed meals meet the table.
The China: The Heritage Collection in Terracotta stacked with Ginori Vermiglio accented with Caskata Hawhtorne Gilt B&B.
Traditional Florentine craftsmanship from renowned porcelain maison Ginori 1735 was made for a festive tablescape. Add the high-quality designs from Caskata's Hawthorne Gilt B&B and the classic Heritage Collection, and you have the filigree details covered.
The Glassware: The Duchess Goblet in Hot Pink set with the Carrie Collection Cosmo and Carrie Wine Glass in Rose, and Gold Scroll Pilsner Glass
Handcrafted by artisans in Italy, our signature gold glassware rentals are a must for a sophisticated table. The Duchess goblets were specifically commissioned by P.O.S.H.. Handblown glass inlaid with 24K Gold and Silver makes these statement goblets a must for a well-heeled crowd. Does someone in the family prefer beer to wine? The Flatware: Cutipol Rondo Matte Copper
Cutipol truly broke the mold on classic yet contemporary cutlery. We love how the Copper set melds the terracotta, wine, and golden tones together for an unmistakable warmth.
The Chair: Charlotte Square Back
Such a whimsical table needed a sturdy, square seating option. The Charlotte Chair lends a stunning silhouette to the table while framing guests with the perfect posture for a truly regal option.
