P.O.S.H. DESIGNER SERIES: PARTY! DALLAS

You are cordially invited to our first ever P.O.S.H. Designer Series. We’re celebrating the beauty of gracious entertaining with the well-considered tabletop, from china and cutlery to personal touches from the names to know in event design. Visit digitally on our website to find a new designer featured every three weeks, or experience them all first-hand with a scheduled visit to our showroom now through the end of May.

Our moments around the table are always intimate, no matter the size of the party. Even if the only guests are family and friends who don’t need impressing, an elegantly composed tabletop nostalgically elevates the experience and allows everyone to relax–something we all need in the monotony of forced isolation. We are born china collectors, but the added beauty of rentals allows an opportunity to express every side of our personality or embrace a theme. To celebrate the transformative power of tabletops, we called in local event design experts (who also happen to be preeminent hosts themselves) to handpick their favorite rentals for a tablescape that lightheartedly speaks to this moment. Whatever the occasion, these tastemakers have perfected the art of mixing exceptionally styled tablescapes for clients from Dallas to Italy, and everywhere in between. We ADORE the designs–tablescapes that impress not just because they’re gorgeous, but because you feel the fun and passion in the selections. They will transform you into a place and time. Enjoy. P.S. A very special shoutout to Tamytha Cameron Photography, who always captures every layer to perfection.

NAME TO KNOW: PARTY! DALLAS

Todd Fiscus has a towering legacy nationwide, but to us proud Texans, we can safely state he is THE muse for every modern planner and event designer. From his namesake event company Todd Events to Avant Garden (those luscious florals floating around every hot spot in the city), our favorite event designer has accomplished every creative and logistical mission, no matter the restrictions or dimensions. Todd for president?! While designing his "whale" of events (they're big y'all), he noticed the need to make parties come alive like a true interior. A soiree is a living, breathing atmosphere after all, where every moment matters and every inch of space is an opportunity to create magic. Chances are if you’ve attended a top event in Dallas, you’ve grabbed our P.O.S.H. stemware from a staged bar screened and set in lush, elegant lounge settings. Enter Party! Dallas, Todd’s fantastical one-stop-shop of lounge and staging offerings.

Party! Dallas brings the swag (there’s a reason for the exclamation point, people!). We’re talking lavish curtains dripping with couture trimming, an irresistible array of mood-setting chandeliers, candles, and pendants, and customizable chairs and cushions that command any room, oh my! You may think it’s just rentals as usual until you see first-hand these irresistible dreamscapes. The stellar creative team keeps up with the top interior trends to ensure poetic pairings of patterns and color for an undeniable appeal that is at once on-trend and elegant.

We will go ahead and call them our fairy godfathers (and mothers) of the event world for helping us all live as beautifully as we can (because life is just too short to be boring). When we asked this team to set the table, we expected a lesson in staging and precise details. They did not disappoint with their fanciful and modern exhibit describing the beauty of each course in a formal dinner while making it, dare we say, sensual. While the aesthetic is museum-worthy, a Todd party is never stuffy and always meant for play, making this an interactive affair. After a year of eating takeout in our pajamas, atmosphere and sex appeal is everything for clients craving a return to memorable moments at a full table. Stop by the showroom to see this setup in person. Plus, you know what they say, you have to learn all of the rules first before you break them. Hip, hip, Hurrah!

TABLE TALK

First things first, tell us a bit about yourself for someone who may not be familiar.

We are Party! Dallas - a multi-line, interior-based event rental showroom in Dallas! We love to be a sharp tool in the tool belt of our clients, planners, designers, florists, and friends! While we live in Dallas, we will travel to any city in the nation. You dream it, we’ll achieve it!

How do you let the table tell a story?

We follow the guidelines of our Party! Partners and let them tell us what they want to highlight. From there, we help build their story with accent pieces that truly make the table unique!

What inspired this design?

This table was inspired by our love of mixing traditional with contemporary - blue and white with sleek black and gold; clean lines with a touch of Southern flair!

What is your favorite piece on this table and why?

Our favorite Party! piece has to be our Dior Dining Table- made especially for our designer friends at Christian Dior. Our favorite Posh pieces are the black Mila chairs because we love how they elevate all dining tables!

Who would you want to bring to this table?

Our Party! partners, of course!

Who is your dream collaborator for future events?

We’ve always followed and admired the work of Revelry Event Design - their work is flawless and to watch them operate behind the scenes gives us goosebumps! How fun that would be to collaborate with a design house of their talent!

READY FOR THE CLOSE UP

Tablescape Vibe: The brave new world is replacing standard soirees with swinging from the chandeliers but still relishing the intimate moments we found last year. We champion this finishing school for interior fanatics that calls to mind a reimagining of the great American rooms. She is a glorious return to tradition with globally loved objects of study, specifically blue and white patterns, for courses that are perfectly proportioned and staged with a modern flair.

Palette: A new perspective on culture comes only when we refresh tradition. The heirloom hues of classic blue and white combos in three different styles hit all the right notes as they make a magnificent mad dash into optimistic noir with deep onyx stemware. A sense of approachable comfort with sex appeal, if you please.

Conversation Piece: Surely you didn't skim over the custom Dior Dining Table? We didn't think so. Le sigh. Top her with small details–candles, fixtures, ginger jars–and this story comes full circle. A bold vision, quite literally elevated, for an undeniable aesthetic in a world beginning to bloom again. Follow the table through each course for a lesson in style and grace. Just don't forget to add the exclamation point!

Table and Chair: Dior Dining for the high drama. So nice we said it thrice. Plus, is there anything sexier than the black velvet Mila? Nevah, darling! Told you this wasn’t your typical blue and white show.

Dress Up: We see you–the Texas au courant showing up to all of the major events politely suited for the dress code while extravagantly displaying your own style. We dress for the party we want, pretty birds. So channel your inner Lynn Watt. If you know, you know. And if you don’t, there’s a reason Texas Monthly once deemed her the “Socialite of the Century”. Want more? Channel Todd and Ceron, both of whom flawlessly take dapper to a fresh level of fun and flair. It's time to strut.
