Charmed? We’re sure! The iconic shades from Ginori 1735 are always in season, but there is just something about the specific blue and blush duo of Pervinca and Azalea that shines for a romantic, floral-inspired Spring wedding in Dallas.
SUBTLE COLOR PLAY and ICONIC PATTERNS
The expressive floral motif of the “garofano” carnation is a timeless, handcrafted element of the Ginori Collection, making it a crowd-pleasing pattern for the bride wanting a refined place setting that feels far from garden variety. For this Spring wedding designed by Caroline Events, the bride wanted blush, blue, and silver tones throughout her tented garden-style wedding reception. Owner and lead luxury planner Caroline Fair didn’t want this color palette to lean too saccharine (or lean too baby shower) and needed to bring two sophisticated shades to the table. Thus, the Ginori Pervinca Charger and Azalea Dinner Plate entered the chat.
A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN
Consider this a sweet update to something borrowed, something blue! The Pervinca shade evokes a serene and classic periwinkle with gold-trimmed details. It is at once classic and a true soft blue that works beautifully with its counterpart–the blushing Azalea. This slightly warm and delicate petal-pink hue brings a soft yet playful spirit to the table. Together, they are our favorite blue and blush duo to date for a sophisticated place. We love how Caroline let these shades shine by creating a classic silver foundation with small touches of gold and adding bright floral centerpieces. Additional table setting included a mix of the Arbor Gold Collection, adding a bright lift to the silver elements that stood out to us as exceptionally beautiful with its contrast. This level of restraint made the Ginori patterns pop in the best possible way. We adore! And we aren’t the only ones. This gorgeous wedding has been blessing the ‘gram and is featured in the D Weddings Spring 2026 edition, now available online and in print.
RENTALS THAT MADE THE MOMENT
It's not a typical rental--it's Ginori! Tradition and manufacturing excellence intertwine with timeless beauty. The name Ginori originated in 1735 at the family estate in Doccia outside of Florence, Italy. In 2020, Richard Ginori presented a new beginning with Oriente Italiano. A lush and colorful garden of exotic flowers, an exuberant and unusual lawn party. Ginori wanted to dare by founding a style that combines two elements of the Italian artistic tradition - the elegance of the lines of the original Antico Doccia collection and the delicate charm of the Carnation, a floral motif typical of Faenza ceramics and inspired by an imaginary oriental garden bursting with color that animates these porcelain plates.
