P.O.S.H. DESIGNER SERIES: SARABETH EVENTS

Our moments around the table are always intimate, no matter the size. Even if the only guests are family and friends who don’t need impressing, an elegantly composed tabletop nostalgically elevates the experience and allows everyone to relax–something we all have desired more in the past two years. We are born china collectors, but the added beauty of rentals allows an opportunity to express every side of our personality or embrace a theme. To celebrate the transformative power of tabletops, we called in local event design experts (who also happen to be preeminent hosts themselves) to handpick their favorite rentals for a tablescape that lightheartedly speaks to this moment. Whatever the occasion, these tastemakers have perfected the art of mixing exceptionally styled tablescapes for clients from Dallas to Italy, and everywhere in between. We ADORE the designs–tablescapes that impress not just because they’re gorgeous, but because you feel the fun and passion in the selections. They will transform you into a place and time. Enjoy. P.S. A very special shoutout to Tamytha Cameron Photography, who always captures every layer to perfection.

What inspired this design?

When Posh asked us to design a tabletop in their showroom, we just couldn’t say no. For us planners, curating a tabletop gives us all the thrills! From the table and chairs to napkins and all the beautiful china choices… We were in heaven playing with inspired palettes!

Tablescape Vibe:

Home is where the heart is over the holidays. We love a suggestion of opulence, in spirit and material delights. This setting becomes the atmospheric gold that shifts your dining area into a festive room fit for reveling with dazzling tabletop splendor. We’d enjoy this enchanted scene throughout the spirited season, all the way through Boxing Day (January 6th), which traditionally is the Twelfth Night of Christmas and Ephiphany.

Palette:

Think warm and inviting against the glass tabletop so you felt a sense of welcoming to the table. Sarabeth brought in rich tones and textures with multiple layers of china for a beautiful formal dinner presentation.

Conversation Piece:

No table presentation is complete without some floral and pretty paper details to help bring the whole design together. Branching Out Events created a lovely floral arrangement filled with rust to terracotta tones for a bold and bright centerpiece display. Brown Fox Creative designed this soft and romantic design that was the perfect compliment to all the fall colors. Each menu was cleverly adorned with a gold wax seal with a place card attached. We last added a pear to the Lenox gray bread and butter plates for a nod to the feast that’s about to be prepared.

Table and Chair:

This design all started with their glorious Mila Collection, which features a glass tabletop with a sleek modern gold frame design. And matching gold framing chairs that come in a variety of velvet cushioned seats. We love that this collection gave us endless possibilities for the rest of our table display. So it was easy to pair a Mila chair in Emerald Green to complete this Mila ensemble!

THE HAUTE LIST

Chargers: SBE chose to duel layer the metallic leafed Kim Seybert Laurel on top of the Wood Beaded Charger for a lovely foundational layer.

China: A mixture of the Glass Gold Beaded Dinner Plate, Marchesa Lenox Shades of Grey Salad Plate. All topped with our show stopper beauty, the Charles Sadek Exoctic Bird Dessert Plate for a nod to the traditional holiday feast. This plate helped bring in warm tones that were then paired into the following items.

Glassware: A mixture of color at each place setting with Avery in Amber, Stella in Light Purple, and Vintage Assorted in Green.

Flatware: Paired with Contessa Gold for a touch of sophistication.

Napkins: Lamour Sienna added the perfect warmth to tie back into our bird plate.
